Bodybuilder, Chef, Trainer: Meet the Triple Threat Tyson

We are thrilled to introduce the newest addition to our Studio Strong team, Tyson Long! Tyson brings a unique blend of fitness expertise and culinary knowledge that makes him an exceptional resource for our community.

Tyson’s fitness journey began in his early years, bonding with his father at the gym where they learned and progressed together. This foundation evolved into a passion for bodybuilding during his athletic years, leading him to compete in several natural bodybuilding competitions throughout college.

His professional path initially took him into the culinary world, where he worked in the restaurant industry for over 15 years. Today, Tyson successfully combines his two passions by running his own catering business that specializes in healthy, nutritious meals—perfectly complementing his work as a personal trainer.

Fitness remains central to Tyson’s family life as well. His wife Anna is an active CrossFit competitor, and together they enjoy hiking adventures with their two children, who are also involved in various sports and physical activities.

Tyson’s training approach focuses on strength training and muscle development while incorporating HIIT-style movements. This balanced method helps clients build functional strength that translates to everyday activities and movements.
