Challenge Overview
The holidays are approaching fast, and we all know how things can get a little hectic. But this November, Studio Strong invites you to plank through the season with our Planksgiving Challenge 2025! Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, this 30-day challenge will help you stay active, strong, and centeredβone plank at a time.
What Makes This Challenge Special:
Progressive Design: We start SLOW and build gradually. You’re not diving into 5-minute planks on day one! The calendar is designed to progressively increase your time throughout the month, with strategic rest days built in.
No matter your fitness level, you’ll be amazed at how much stronger you feel by Thanksgiving.

π Important Rest Days:
Rest is essential to recovery! Use these days to relax, stretch, or reflect on your progress:
- November 7 – Rest Day
- November 16 – Rest Day
- November 24 – Rest Day
π― Choose Your Challenge Level
Pick the level that matches your current fitness. All levels start manageable and work their way up!
π’ BEGINNER
Goal: 1:30
- Starts with just seconds
- Builds to 1 minute 30 seconds by Nov 30
- Perfect for those new to planking or returning after time off
π‘ INTERMEDIATE
Goal: 3:00
- Gradual progression
- Builds to 3 minutes by Nov 30
- Great for those with some plank experience
π΄ EXPERT
Goal: 5:00
- Progressive build
- Builds to 5 minutes by Nov 30
- For seasoned plankers ready for a challenge

β Proper Plank Form:
- Forearms on ground, elbows under shoulders
- Body straight from head to heels
- Core engaged, no sagging hips
- Neutral neck position
Modifications Allowed: Beginners can do knees down! Wall planks or incline planks count too. Focus on form over time.

November 22 – Hold a side plank for 30 seconds per side immediately after your main plank.

π How to Participate

Step 1: Sign Up
- To qualify for the prizes below, please sign up by November 3rd

Step 2: Download Your Calendar
- Download the calendar from this page
- Print it out
- Pick your level: Beginner (B), Intermediate (I), or Expert (X)

Step 3: Start Planking!
- November 1: Begin your challenge
- Follow the daily plank times for your level
- Check off each day as you complete it
- Enjoy your scheduled rest days
Step 4: Track Your Progress
- Mark off completed days on your calendar
- Post to social media if going for Champion or Superstar prizes.
- Complete badge challenges as announced for Champion contenders
Step 5: Claim Your Prize
- Turn in completed calendar by December 3, 2025
- Submit at Studio Strong (629 West Highway 50) or email photo/scan to studiostrongfit@gmail.com
- Include social media profile for badge proof and top prize verification
- Include your name and contact info

βββ Frequently Asked Questions
Can I switch levels during the challenge?
We recommend sticking with your chosen level throughout the month for best results. The progressive nature of the challenge is designed to build your strength gradually. However, if you need to adjust, that’s okay β just stay consistent once you choose.
What if I miss a day after November 4th?
Life happens! Just pick up where you left off. You can make up a missed day on a rest day if you choose, but don’t try to do multiple days at once. However, you are no longer eligible for the prizes/credits.
What if I sign-up after November 1st?
If you sign-up after November 1st, you will have to make up the days you missed. Add an extra plank from the ones you missed for each of the next days. You are still eligible for prizes, as long as you signed up by November 4th.
Do I have to do the badge challenges?
Badge challenges are optional bonus activities. You can still earn the Finisher prize by just completing the daily plank requirements. The badges are for those who want an extra challenge and bonus prizes!
Can I modify the plank?
Absolutely! Knee planks, wall planks, and incline planks all count. Focus on maintaining proper form β that’s more important than the difficulty level.
How do I submit my completed calendar?
You can either drop off your physical calendar at Studio Strong (629 West Highway 50) or email a photo/scan to studiostrongfit@gmail.com by December 3, 2025.
